Thinking of Rick

Just read Rick's Current Vibe post over at Good Coffee this morning. Haven't you just been there? Frank Herbert's Dune had the saying that "Fear is the mind killer." I believe that "business is the joy stealer" and when my daytimer is at its fullest is when my joy is at its dimmest.

When anyone in my family is trodden down and worn out, I like to try and encourage them and make them smile. So, here is my attempt. I found this on Todd's Word this morning:

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things.
Philippians 4:8

Good stuff, Carlos. I use my blog like you do, to post my thoughts and questions, and sometimes my rants. I have no agenda, but if I put something out there that someone can use, then that is great. As for the phrase, "Christian Sub-Culture," the Bible teaches that we are not "sub-anything." We are divinely created for the good pleasure of our Heavenly Father. Sorry for the comment sermon. Or is that, "sub-sermon?"

The whole "sub-culture" conversation can be approached from so many different points of view...perhaps a sub-culture summit is in order.

christian sub-coffee = what's served in most sunday school classes each weekend. ugh.
