Escape!

I came across this picture of an outting to Bush Gardens with Mr. Pacific Grits back in the late 90s. The ride is an archeological boat ride through the ruins of Pompey. Fire erupts all around you, and finally you escapae by sliding down a huge ramp making a spectacular splash.

You failed to mention a lively theme song which we learned and then taught to our fellow "escapees" on the boat.

That final escape down the waterfall... Invigorating!

I've been on this ride! It is a good one, especially the searing heat from the fires at the beginning of the ride.

My fav Busch Gardens ride was the Big Bad Wolf in the Germany section of the park. Pulling G's while flying through pretend German villages is something to see!

Steve - you should try the newer coasters when you fly nearby - Alpinegeist and the Griffen.

What was the "lively theme song"? I'm imagining something like "It's a small world after all.."

I like the Hulk at Universal, personally.
